With this post, I’m reporting the first time from Canada! Yeah, I made it! The start of my adventure was successful. I don’t wanna bother you with any formalities I had to do at the beginning of my stay as a Work-and-Traveller but rather present you the benefits of Vancouver … and the disadvantages, to not forget the permanent rain. But seriously, who is arriving here without getting thrilled by the vibe of the city has definitely done something wrong. Everybody here is so friendly and helpful and the city offers so many possibilities. For only a few dollars you can travel with the public transport to North Vancouver from where you can go on a hike through the rainforests at the slopes of the mountains. I, for example, went to Capilano Lake and walked through Capilano Park. For those who don’t want to travel away from downtown to get into the nature, Stanley Park is right next to downtown. So it’s possible to experience cool stuff on a low budget, which is also kind of my attitude, as I wanna travel for almost one year here. Obviously, Vancouver won’t stay my home for long as the costs to make a living here are pretty high. But as a point to meet travelers and plan your next trip it’s just perfect. With the following impressions, I want to raise your anticipation to read more posts and I hope that I can soon post some good news again.
